The owners of this Victorian home, originally a run-down old shack, had a grand vision to renovate and restore it to its original glory. Although it was important to have a kitchen that looked fantastic, it
also needed to be durable. Designed with a young family in mind, careful consideration had to be given to the materials used to create such a family-friendly environment, without moving away from the
style of the rest of the home. For this reason, Wiluna White vinyl wrap doors were chosen for easy maintenance and high durability. While they are highly intricate, vinyl wrap means there are no edges to lift, wear or chip, making them ideal around a young family. The routed pattern on the doors features a recessed centre panel that has
a more traditional feel, with the look further enhanced by the addition of a bollection mould. Only the best fittings were used to create this spacious and stylish environment, with no details left untouched. Even the vinyl-wrap kickboards feature a decorative route which adds a touch of elegance to a part of the kitchen that is often overlooked.
Cooking is also made easier thanks to the cleverly placed drawers on either side of the oven, containing all the essential ingredients andkeeping them within easy reach. The large L-shaped island bench provides a casual eating and meeting area, and also serves as the entry and exit point to other parts of the home. The timber benches
and Tasmanian oak floors add warmth to the room and, when combined with the cream-coloured cabinetry, create a light and peaceful atmosphere in this beautifully appointed home.
